Get The Hipster Look - in five easy steps!

Looking simply at the HIPTER’s fashion and style preference, it would be easy to say that getting the look is, easy as saying it, easy. But it takes more to invibe and enliven the real cause of a hipster. But for starters, maybe, here are a few things you can do to get the hipster look.

Personally, I am not a whole breed hipster. I swing to mainstream fashion every once in a while, far too often than swinging into the hip hipster trend. But my fashion preference reflects strongly of my love for the cause. So here are five easy steps, or more like, five things to mind if you want to get the hipster look.

PANTS. 

Make it slim – and if you can buy local or thrift shop finds, then you are best described by the very word, HIPSTER. Although, seeking the help of the likes of Urban Outfitters, GAP and JAG would really do you great as these brands are very much HIPSTER when it comes to style.  SHIRT that SHOUTS.

 A hipster prefers a shirt or a tee that speaks of his cause. Picking an unconventional print or a well loved cartoon character from your childhood is a common style of a hipster. Another choice would be an iconic shirt about a book, a beach, an old car or a not-yet-cool indie band. Bottom line, a nice shirt that shouts your hipsterism is the key.

KICKS. 
Kick it with old school styled shoes, the older (or classier) the better. 

This is actually one of my best loved traits of hipsters. I personally think lots of my hipster going folks are really good in picking stylish but affordable shoes. Men are best with classic vans, the old and tattered Chucks, experimenting with high cut boots from the likes of Urban Outfitters is also a common choice. Thing is, explore with your toes!

SHADES.

Lastly, a HIPSTER accessorises just enough. 

As the movement shuns away the conventional notion of beauty hipsters rarely put on extensive (and expensive) accessories. A nice watch or a wrist bangle is enough. Pick a funky piece that could go well with your skin and wardrobe color palette. Hipster guys are also very good with wearing caps. A boy’s cap is the best choice. Find one that suits you!
